Overview and Summary

The Sr. Consultant conducts market and dealer analysis to determine optimal dealer network performance and to assess dealer operation performance. Also will navigate through our different solutions. These analyses are created using proprietary software and processes, and are intended to provide independent litigation support.

The Sr. Consultant is focused on both technical & client handling skills, with beginning focus on project management.  This position has greater independence, accountability and customer relationship handling.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Creates and reviews exhibits using our proprietary software, internal automated system, Excel, SQL, Access and other software, as needed.
    • Participates in and/or leads the client and attorney meetings where the scope, timeline and expectations of the project(s) are determined.
    • Participates in and/or leads ongoing meetings with internal team members to ensure that the project is on track and deliverables are correct, timely and appropriate.
    • Communicates project information and details to entire project team in a timely manner.
    • Ensures that necessary process/software is set up and updated for each project.
    • Identifies additional analysis needs for a particular project.
    • May collaborate with other teams within the company for ad-hoc projects.
    • Mentors and coaches entry-level team members about process, technology, expectations, etc.

     

    Supervisory Responsibilities

    In preparation of possible future supervisory responsibilities, this person may be called upon to do the following for assigned staff:

    • Set objectives
    • Participate in performance appraisals
    • Assign and prioritize work
    • Approve timesheets
    • Establish and maintain quality, quantity and timeliness of wor
    • Oversee training
    • Coach, mentor, manage, and motivate

Qualifications - Education and Experience

  • KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

    • Experience with the automotive segment is a must
    • Understanding and manipulating data
    • Strong analytical thinking in order to analyze problems and identify alternative solutions
    • Hands-on and results oriented
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Detail-orientation
    • Ability to prioritize competing demands, manage multiple concurrent projects and adapt to changing priorities
    • Ability to present information, either orally or written, to individuals and groups, including the client and/or executive leadership
    • Knowledge and execution of simple statistical analysis
    • Knowledge of relational database fundamentals (intermediate/advanced SQL). This includes: importing/exporting data and creating and executing queries, functions and stored procedures.
    • Solid quantitative and mathematical grounding
    • Basic knowledge in any programming language is preferred
    • Coordinates with individuals or teams to complete analyses, tasks and projects on time and with high quality.
    • Ability to take large amounts of data and format it in a way that is easy to understand and aesthetically pleasing
    • Proficient at MS Office

      • Excel (v-look up, pivot tables, create charts, create graphs, write formulas)

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

    • University degree required; technical degrees are strongly preferred (i.e., engineering, applied math, statistics, applied science, information systems, operations research, etc.) from an accredited college or university, or equivalent foreign institution.  Non-technical degrees will be considered if candidate possesses appropriate level of analytical and technical knowledge required for the role
    • Minimum of 4 years related work experience required
    • Fluent in English and Portuguese
    • Spanish speaker is a plus
    • International experience is a plus
    • Previous experience with team management is a plus
