Overview and Summary

The main focus of this role is to support the GM lead management program and process to ensure operational excellence and maintain alignment to key business drivers and external marketing influences as well as industry best practices.  This will be accomplished by working collaboratively with multiple cross functional business organizations, key GM business stakeholders, GM IT, GM suppliers (i.e. CVI, Acxiom) and the GM Analytics/Reporting team.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for lead onboarding processes for GM, Agencies or Data Providers; providing subject matter expertise, guidance and support
  • Enable, test and authenticate leads in pre-prod and seamlessly transition to production.  Verify results and monitor metrics to ensure successful end to end lead flow; resolve issues, as necessary.
  • Analyze the daily End to End report; provide updates and courses of action for identified issues to GM stakeholders
  • Assist and support in coordination of bi-weekly Operations Meeting with GM business owners; track action items to closure, manage issues and risks
  • Perform inflight and post analysis of campaigns. Evaluate the application of business rules to the lead data flowing through the end to end system; apply corrective action, as needed, or leverage for future opportunities
  • Liaison between GM IT and cross functional business units, gather requirements and provide consultative solutions
  • Working in conjunction with GM business owners, interface with GM IT delivery teams to execute product roadmap and ensure that business requirements and commitments are being met on schedule
  • Support change control process:  Draft change requests for lead delivery system, coordinate prioritization and releases with GMIT and impacted stakeholders, follow-up and escalate, as required
  • Support lead triage process:  Troubleshoot unresolved issues and coordinate resolution with GMIT and upstream / downstream provider support, Provide business units with status updates regarding any outage scenarios; responsible for internal and external communication, Quality Control
  • Lead data validation: Review reports for data accuracy; perform audits on content and metrics, diagnose and resolve reporting issues.

  • Ability to identify problems, generate and evaluate alternatives to resolve them, and make recommendations on the most effective strategy
  • Ability to contribute in meetings and work collaboratively with GM stakeholders
  • Project management skills, including ability to drive solution recommendations on-time and at exceptional quality
  • Ability to coordinate and guide the exchange of information and ideas in an interactive session designed to meet specific defined objectives
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills necessary
  • Ability to assist in developing and delivering formal presentations to GM stakeholders
  • Math & Statistics: Requires knowledge of basic descriptive statistics and ability to execute simple statistical analyses, create scatter plots, bar charts and histograms; requires ability to apply the right mathematical methods or formulas to solve a problem
  • Teamwork & Cooperation: Requires the ability to work cooperatively with others and be part of a team

 Education and/or Experience:

  • University degree in business, marketing, communications or a technical field (engineering, applied math, computer science, applied science, MIS or other) from an accredited US college or university, or equivalent foreign institution is required
  • 2+ years relevant work experience required
  • Automotive Digital Marketing work experience desired
  • Experience in lead management both from an operational and analytical standpoint desired
  • Requires demonstrated knowledge of relational database management, including, creating and executing queries, creating scripts, importing/exporting data and manipulating data; knowledge and experience with SQL is required
  • Must have a solid working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Experience in working with clients and technology teams preferred
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
