    Urban Science has developed a proprietary offering called Business Management Intelligence (BMI) which is a web-based business management solution that provides dealers, manufacturers, and field staff with the financial reporting, analysis and forecasting tools required to make critical business decisions. 

     

    POSITION OVERVIEW

    The Implementation Lead will implement and lead the setup of new BMI implementations as well as the continued sustainment and upgrading of existing BMI implementations for the region.  The Implementation Lead will also work with Local Account Management team(s) to prioritize work and provide estimates for system setups and new functionality development.  In addition, the Development Lead will manage other team members.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Responsible for leading and contributing to the implementation, development and delivery of BMI systems adhering to client requirements
    • Responsible for the setup, support and maintenance of scheduled activities to be delivered on time and within budget
    • Adhere to, support, and continuously improve processes.
    • Collaborate with Practice Leadership and Business Analysts to identify client needs.
    • Collaborate with Local Account Management team members and/or clients to address requests for new functionality or current functionality improvements.
    • Collaborate with Local Account Management team(s) to prioritize tasks and maintain a work backlog.
    • Collaborate with Local Account Management team(s) to identify and automate offline processes.
    • Act as technical consultant to assist Local Account Management team(s) in advising/supporting clients.
    • Assist with the development and delivery of technical training on new applications and application updates.
    • Manage team tasks utilizing the Scrum methodology.
      • Enforce quality control standards.
    • Perform peer code and design reviews.
    • Provide detailed effort estimates to team and project managers.

    Supervisory Responsibilities

    Responsible for all aspects of RSTMM (recruit, select, train, manage, motivate) of selected staff which includes the following:

    • Interviewing & selection
    • Setting objectives
    • Conducting performance appraisals
    • Assigning and prioritizing work
    • Approval of timesheets
    • Establish and maintain quality, quantity and timeliness of work
    • Employee development, career planning and promotions
    • Oversee training
    • Coach, mentor, manage and motivate
    • Interpret and carry out established corporate policy, including disciplinary procedures

     

    Qualifications - Education and Experience

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND COMPETENCIES

    • Comprehensive knowledge of and specific experience in technologies that include:
      • Transact SQL (T-SQL) with experience utilizing Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL 2014 experience preferred)
      • Excel & VBA
      • XML
    • Proficiency in:
      • Team Foundation Server (TFS) or any other AML tooling
      • Visual Studio or other IDE tooling
      • IIS, .NET Framework, DNS, Web Traffic
    • Basic understanding of:
      • Agile (more specifically Scrum)
      • Understanding of DevOps
      • C#
      • JavaScripHTML5/CSS
    • Strong knowledge of relational database fundamentals, including creating and executing queries, creating scripts, importing/exporting data, and manipulating data

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    • Must have Baccalaureate degree in an appropriate field from an accredited college or university, equivalent foreign institution, or equivalent experience
      • Must have minimum of three years relevant work experience.
      • ScrumMaster certification preferred.
