    The Business Metrics Associate will support the execution of Urban Science’s global client satisfaction survey, as well as the corporate financial performance reporting processes (profitability, etc). The Associate will integrate data from various sources, validate the accuracy of data, create and generate reports that track metrics. This role will support global teams to ensure processes are followed, as well as be a point of contact for all process related questions.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • With guidance, use standard processes to extract data from known sources, perform expected data analysis; generate, verify and finalize reports for various office and teams.
    • Identify high level trends and recommended focus areas.
    • Provide support to Business Metrics Manager to review analysis, results, recommendations, and action plans with relevant Leaders.
    • Provide input for best practice identification to improve focus areas, update repository of action items, and help monitor ongoing office actions.
    • Provide recommendations, determine impact on budget, and overall prioritization of action items.
    • Complete ad hoc data and reporting requests as needed.
    • Partner with external survey administrator to build more efficiencies in our process.
    • Provide support for quarterly forecasting process.
    • Gather requirements to develop reporting and analysis solutions to meet the needs of the business.

    Qualifications - Education and Experience

    • High level of proficiency with MS Excel, and intermediate knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint and Access required.
    • Demonstration of college-level math skills required. Some knowledge of basic descriptive statistics and ability to execute simple statistical analyses preferred.
    • Financial Acumen: Basic knowledge of budgets, actuals, revenue, profit and financial reporting preferred.
    • Ability to analyze data across factors and time periods and identify trends/patterns.
    • Strong attention to detail skills required.
    • Demonstrates ability to collaborate and work in a team environment, including with higher level executives.
    • Demonstrates ability to manage multiple demands and establish priorities.
    • Demonstrates analytical and problem solving skills; including the ability to proactively identify issues and solutions.
    • Project Management Knowledge & Skills:

    Basic knowledge of project management processes, tools and techniques

    Basic knowledge of contract management principles preferred




    • Must possess Baccalaureate degree in an appropriate field such as Business, Management Information Systems, or related field from an accredited U.S. college or university, or equivalent foreign institution.
    • 2+ years of work experience preferred.
