  • Overview and Summary

    We are offering a great new opportunity as an On-Site Consultant working for an Automotive OEM (corporate location not dealership) client in Belgium. The role will be embedded within the Corporate Sales Department and serve as a key team member of a streamlined team.


    We are looking for a motivated and eager to learn professional who is able to impress our clients and maintain and grow the premium partnership with our Automotive OEM Client. If you really want to get to know the automotive industry from within and improve your client-facing skills, this role is for you! 


    The role will be located in Brussels city where the client headquarters will be located.

    Working language to be Dutch & French, with English as a plus.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    Target setting & Follow-up - 35%

    • Calculate, manage, track, send out monthly Bonus targets
    • Update and send out Daily forecast vs actual files.
    • Performing and processing Pipeline analyses.
    • Management and update of a Sales dashboard.
    • Calculation and reporting of Fleet, CV and Sales figures to the relevant departments. Present these figures to Senior Local and European Management.

    In Dept Market analysis and Optimization - 30%

    • Evaluation of sales prospects for all Opel models in the short and medium term. Anticipating the impact on product supply and availability, of micro and macro-economic factors on car sales. Analyze the trends in the car market.
    • Management, control, analysis and reporting of Opel's entire vehicle stock.

    Monthly Market forecasting - 15%

    • Monthly calculation of the new Opel and Market forecast based on factory availability, local and European targets, etc.
    • Presenting and explaining the forecast to local and European management

    Competitor analysis - 5%

    • Analyze the strategies of the main competitors. Explain Opel's performance and the various models against the competition.

    Opel database management – 10%

    • Managing the Opel registration & order intake database for creation of standard sales and marketing reports.

    Data supplier contact management – 5%

    • Act as expert user of the available Marketing Information Systems (MIS, Sales Info Database). Maintaining contacts with data suppliers. Support the Opel management team and the Opel partners with standard market reports and ad-hoc analyses.

    Qualifications - Education and Experience


    •   Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); Specifically, MS Excel expertise with ability to create macros in VBA (automation, report creation, etc.)
    • SQL knowledge for Database querying of pertinent data – USI DB hierarchy knowledge is considered as an advantage.
    • Strong analytical and technical skills. You are able to quickly solve (ad-hoc) problems.
    • Pro-active and action-oriented.
    • Excellent organizational, time and project-management skills
    • Clear customer focus (CRM) & a good attitude.
    • Eager to learn and to be part of the day to day business of an automotive NSC.
