    Position Overview:

    Urban Science offers a suite of automotive retail solutions focused on improving the effectiveness and efficiency of our clients’ marketing efforts in order to facilitate customer acquisition and retention.  Urban Science leverages its Power of 4TM approach using cutting edge analytics, proprietary software solutions, and years of automotive industry experience to help our clients create and execute strategies to achieve their sales objectives by generating and closing, high quality shopping traffic.

     

    The Global Practice Director will further develop and implement an Enterprise Lead Solution strategy for Urban Science.  This includes defining, prioritizing and planning the portfolio of products/solutions within the enterprise lead solution family.  This person will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to determine new solutions and enhancements that drive overall market performance and positioning solutions in the market to help achieve the company’s vision and growth objectives. 

     

    This person will be recognized in the automotive industry as an expert in dealer digital marketing solutions and have a deep understanding of the following:  retail traffic generation, media optimization, lead management, digital advertising, social media and reputation management, dealer website architecture and design.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    Performance Areas for solution family:

     

    • Develop and maintain current and future strategies
    • Provide subject matter expertise in support of global sales goal achievement
    • Support efforts to seek out and evaluate strategic partnerships
    • Partner with Marketing on value proposition and marketing strategy
    • Create and manage investment strategy and budget
    • Collaborate with Local Account Management to understand end user experience and determine solution enhancements
    • May be responsible to recruit, select, train, manage and motivate direct team

     

    Qualifications - Education and Experience

    Key Qualifications:

    • 15+ years of industry related work experience
    • University degree required; degrees in Business, Communications, Marketing, Economics, Public Relations, Statistics or related field are preferred.  The ideal candidate will have a mix of education in both Business/Marketing with some technical coursework (computer science, statistics, math, engineering).  Technical degrees will be considered if candidate possesses appropriate level of business and marketing knowledge required for the role.

    • Inherent drive to go above and beyond to improve or enhance outcomes
