  • Overview and Summary

    With guidance, the Solution Manager will be primarily responsible for maintaining close relationships with the market and awareness of market needs. This includes researching and understanding the market and market problems, and customers’ willingness to pay for solutions that solve market problems. This position will also partner closely with the Technical Product Manager to ensure the technical development of products/solutions are meeting the needs of the market and solving market problems.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Conducts market research, assesses market intelligence data and may attend client events, conferences and trade shows to assess and understand client & market needs in order to define market problems and user/buyer profiles that will enhance the current solution and/or result in future solution opportunities.
    • Monitors, collects and assesses both competitor and product intelligence data, provides summary of conditions, performs gap analyses and makes recommendations regarding current and potential future solution opportunities.
    • Determines the questions to be asked for win/loss analyses and collaborates with internal teams in collecting win/loss data and information.
    • Collaborates with Marketing and Solution Lead on the toolkit items used to create materials, flyers, microsites, demos, etc. to assist with solution positioning and market strategy.
    • Assists with preparing presentations and effectively presents to internal clients to provide status reports, updates and solution demonstrations.
    • Provides solution subject matter expertise in regards to proposals, SOWs, pricing, fees, set-up, sustainment and best practices.
    • Maintains informational content for solution on company intranet, including sales and marketing materials, demo site, training information, templates, etc.
    • Partners closely with the Technical Product Manager to ensure solutions are meeting the needs of the market and solving the problems reflected within the market.
    • Responsible for ensuring the solution roadmap is detailed and aligned to corporate strategy and partners closely with the Technical Product Manager to ensure the solution backlog is aligned to the roadmap.
    • Research and define requirements for new partner platform integrations and data workflows. 
    • Lead the implementation of product and platform integrations by working directly with agency/OEM clients and their technology partners.
    • Collaborate with subcontractors to ensure they carry out critical onboarding functions in support of active solutions.
    • Define and evangelize the needs of the Marketing Intelligence Cloud (MIC) platform to realize best in class capabilities. 
    • Collaboratively develop and deliver audience/measurement strategies. 
    • Document use cases and create case studies to support business development efforts.
    • Provide client facing product and technical expertise in support of sales and delivery efforts.
    • Lead product centric consumer experience testing & optimization efforts
    • Support the drafting of technical requirements in MIC SOWs to accelerate business development efforts. 
    • Proactively assess the performance of the MIC tech stack and implement identified enhancements as prioritized by leadership.
    • Lend marketing, analytic and ad-tech acumen to product development and management.
    • Liaison to the internal Central Services Team to provide operational direction to carry out solution strategies and be the first point of escalation.
    • Partners with solution team in reviewing NPS (client satisfaction) feedback to understand the end user experience and determine improvements/enhancements needed for the solution.
    • Collects testimonials from current clients that help show the value of the product/solution to potential future clients.
    • Builds and maintains strong and effective internal relationships to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing across teams and offices.
    • Works with manager in completing own annual goal setting and performance review in a timely manner.
    • Works with manager to prioritize other duties as assigned.

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

    • University degree required; degrees in Business, Communications, Marketing, Economics, Public Relations, Statistics or related field are preferred from an accredited college or university, or equivalent foreign institution. The ideal candidate will have a mix of education in both Business/Marketing with some technical courses (computer science, statistics, math, engineering). Technical degrees will be considered if candidate possesses appropriate level of business and marketing knowledge required for the role.
    • 5+ years of industry related work experience is required.
    • Experience in integrated Digital Marketing, CRM, Analytics, Data and ad tech is strongly preferred.

    CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

    • Internal certification for solution(s) under responsibility is preferred
