POSITION OVERVIEW
This position will provide operational support for a an industry-leading sales analysis solution that enables quick and easy analysis of geography and segment KPIs against competitors for a major automotive manufacturer. This role supports the delivery of client services and use technical skills to maintain software and database systems and create regular reporting deliverables. Additionally, it requires providing analysis and reporting on key metrics for the platform's stakeholders. The position emphasizes technical and client-handling skills to carry out high-quality projects and tasks with precision and timeliness. The most commonly used technical tools in this position include proprietary software, advanced Excel, and SQL.

Leaders collaborate with their teams to find an optimal balance between in-person and remote work, taking into account the business needs, client requirements, cross-functional projects, personal work styles, and preferences. The ideal location for candidates is the Dallas area, and they must be prepared to travel to the Plano, TX office as needed. Initial training may require additional attendance to the Dallas office for hands-on learning experiences. Regular, in-person, work currently one to two days per week (and likely expanding to three days a week) and attendance of monthly team meetings at the local office are essential for this role's success.

MS Office: Requires demonstrated knowledge of MS Excel for charting and graphing of data, writing formulas and utilizing functions, and filtering, sorting and formatting of data; requires intermediate knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint and Access. Power BI knowledge is highly desirable.
Technical/Software: Must have demonstrated programming proficiency at the minimum requirement for the role (programming proficiency varies by role and may not be required in certain roles. For those roles where programming proficiency is needed, typical programming languages used may include .NET, VBA, C#, SQL, Java, HTML, SSIS and Open Source)
Time Management: Demonstrated ability to prioritize competing demands and manage multiple concurrent tasks is required
Sales & Business Development: Ability to identify potential new opportunities from the client and proactively communicate those opportunities to management is required
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
University degree required; technical degrees are strongly preferred (i.e., engineering, applied math, statistics, applied science, information systems, operations research, etc.) from an accredited college or university, or equivalent foreign institution. Non-technical degrees will be considered if candidate possesses appropriate level of analytical and technical knowledge required for the role
Minimum of 2 years related work experience

Certification of Apprentice for one practice area preferred (or external equivalent)
Urban Science Ambassador
Statistics 1 & Basic Statistics Assessment (or external equivalent)
Intro to Operations Research (or external equivalent)
