Position Overview:

We're seeking a dynamic Marketing & Sales Enablement Specialist to bridge the gap between product, marketing, and sales teams – enhancing our go-to-market strategies and empowering our commercial force to convert more effectively. Workplace flexibility has taken on a whole new meaning here at Urban Science. The requirements of each team, role and employee can look quite different. Leaders work with their teams to determine the right balance for working in-person and remotely, considering the needs of the business, our clients, cross-functional projects, individual work, and individual preference. This role is a hybrid role, with a requirement of one day per week in the Detroit office, with additional days as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Sales Enablement & Conversion Support

  • Partner with our product team to develop clear and compelling product positioning aligned to target customer personas
  • Create sales tools and content to empower efficient sales efforts and partner with internal team members to deliver persona-driven launch, training and engagement materials
  • Collaborate with product and sales to produce resources that address customer objections and pain points
  • Craft data-backed success stories, case studies, and insights that elevate sales conversations
  • Champion feedback loops to continuously evolve sales enablement strategies

Go-to-Market Strategy & Execution

  • Working with the Marketing Director, co-lead the annual marketing planning process and oversee implementation of all associated campaigns
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support the execution of paid media, earned coverage, and social efforts
  • Co-lead the development of our industry event and sponsorship strategy. Oversee logistical execution and ROI optimization, leveraging a marketing associate and external agency resources
  • Lead development of high-impact content including whitepapers, articles and assets to support owned and paid channels, leveraging external partners
  • Align messaging and readiness across marketing, product, and sales teams for seamless product launches
  • Evaluate and iterate campaigns based on performance analytics and sales feedback leveraging HubSpot
  • Manage marketing budgets efficiently, recommending optimizations tied to ROI

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • University degree with concentration in marketing and/or business required.
  • 3-5 years related work experience required
  • Experience with Design Software such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop a plus
  • Experience with marketing automation software like HubSpot a plus
