POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Consultant is a vital member of the Melbourne account team, responsible for delivering high-quality client services through a blend of technical expertise and relationship management. The Consultant is responsible for planning, organizing, process improvements, and executing projects and deliverables with precision and timeliness. This role involves developing, building, testing, and maintaining data architecture and ETL processes to ensure data access and display align with business requirements. The Consultant interprets and analyzes data, with experience in statistical modeling considered a bonus. Adaptability and fast learning are essential, as the role requires keeping pace with evolving technologies.
The ability to work independently and project management skills are key, enabling the Consultant to organize and execute assignments effectively and efficiently. Technical proficiency with SQL, Python, SSIS, and Azure is required, along with the ability to conduct data analysis and prepare reports using visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI. Experience with GIS tools (QGIS, ArcInfo, Mapinfo) is a plus but not essential. The Consultant collaborates closely with internal and external partners, leveraging data-driven insights to support client objectives and drive successful project outcomes.
This role has current Hybrid Workplace flexibility local to our Melbourne, Australia office. Candidate must be available and willing to work in-person two days per week, currently Mondays and Wednesdays. During the initial training, possibly a little more travel to the Melbourne office for the benefit of in-person learning.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
University degree required; technical degrees are strongly preferred (i.e., engineering, applied math, statistics, applied science, information systems, operations research, etc.) from an accredited college or university, or equivalent foreign institution. Non-technical degrees will be considered if candidate possesses appropriate level of analytical and technical knowledge required for the role
